At Zion Arborist we closely follow the International Society of Arborculture standards and practices for every job – from small ornamental prunings to large scale removals. Pruning
At Zion Arborist we strongly believe in proper pruning methods. A well trimmed tree will be pruned for structural integrity, well balanced for a strong growth form, and removed of any significant dead wood. We prune according to the ISA’s ANSI A300 pruning standards, while also taking the time to learn and consider the customers objectives for their property.
Removals
Using proven techniques, we insure that our tree removal service is comprehensive, careful and efficient. Zion Arborist is fully insured and our commitment to safety extends to minimizing disruption to the surrounding landscape and properties. After a tree is removed, we offer stump grinding to complete the job and prevent regrowth.
Health and hazard assessments
Every tree tells a story-if you know how to read it. Our professional tree health and hazard assessments will identify signs of disease, insect activity, strucural defects, decay, root problems, and enviromental stress that may effect your trees health or stability. We evaluate each tree’s overall condition, potential risks to people and property, and long term viabilty, then provide honest, practical recommendations tailored to your goals.

For more than 13 years, Zion Arborist has been helping homeowners, businesses, and property managers care for the trees that help to make Southern Utah beautiful. We serve all of Washington County, including, Springdale, Rockville, Virgin, Toquerville, La Verkin, Hurricane, Leeds, Washington and St.George.
At the heart of our work is a simple philosophy: preserve healthy trees whenever possible, remove them only when necessary, and always treat our customers’ properties with the same care and respect that we would our own.
